Voyageurs is open 24-hours a day year-round, although activities and services are limited after visitor center hours. Please note that early spring and late fall may present hazards on the lake with thin ice; use caution.

The boat launch at Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center will be partially closed July 8–11 to deploy construction vessels. The south lane will remain open; the north lane will be closed. Delays are likely. This work, funded by the Great American Outdoors Act Legacy Restoration Fund, replaces an aging underwater powerline to the historic Kettle Falls area. Thank you for your patience during this project while we improve safety and communication reliability at one of the park’s iconic destinations.
